Metallized PET Film for twist wrapping should be judged after the ends have had time to relax. A neat wrap at the machine exit does not establish retention during distribution.

Measure reopening, not only initial grip

Keep wrapper cut length, twist setting and line speed recorded for each trial. Observe end release after agreed holding periods and after handling. Distinguish a short wrapper from film movement at the twist.

Balance retention with wrapping damage

A tighter setting can change the result, but inspect torn ends and scuffing as well. Compare trial packs with the current material under identical storage conditions. Twist wrapping is not a hermetic seal.
