High Performance Metallized PET Film (VMPET-GZ / GF / JQ Series)
CaiLong High Performance Metallized PET Film is an engineered VMPET family covering ultra-high barrier, high aluminum-layer adhesion, and chemical-coating enhanced architectures.
It is designed for converters and brand owners whose laminate structures cannot rely on “generic” metallized films — and where the priority is to control oxygen/moisture ingress, avoid Al pick-off or delamination, and maintain stability during high-speed converting and post-processing.
Three focused sub-series (what most buyers compare):

VMPET-GZ Series (Ultra-High Barrier): pushed barrier envelope for longer shelf life and “replace/reduce foil” strategies in selective laminate stacks; selected grades with published values around WVTR ≤0.3 g/m²·24h and OTR ≤0.1 cc/m²·24h.

VMPET-GF Series (High-Adhesion): aluminum-layer adhesion typically targeted at ≥2.5 N/15mm to reduce metal transfer risk during aggressive printing, solvent/solventless lamination, and fast unwind/slitting.

VMPET-JQ Series (Chemical-Coating Enhanced): primer/chemical coating system to further raise metallization consistency and bond reliability; suitable for humidity/heat cycles and more demanding laminates (steam/boiling capable on relevant grades; retort ≤121°C on specific types — verify per structure and adhesive/ink system).
