High Barrier Film for Nitrogen-Flushed Packs

Sep 19,2026 | FOSHAN CAILONG METALLIC PACKAGING MATERIAL CO.,LTD

High Barrier Film helps slow gas exchange in nitrogen-flushed packs, but film transmission is only one part of headspace control. Seal channels, punctures and inconsistent flushing can dominate the result.

Metallized Film Supplier needs the laminate, target OTR/WVTR, fill volume, initial residual oxygen and storage conditions. Cailong’s VPET-GZ series provides published grade-specific barrier values, which must be matched to the customer’s test conditions.

Separate Filling from Barrier

Measure residual oxygen immediately after sealing and again during storage. A high starting value points to flushing or headspace control; a rapid later rise may indicate leakage or insufficient package barrier.

Check the Whole Pouch

Test flat panels, seals, folds, valves and puncture-prone corners. Record film and seal failures separately. A compliant roll cannot compensate for contaminated seals.

Qualify the Final Structure

Compare candidate laminates after printing, lamination and distribution simulation. Send Cailong the structure, gas target, filling settings, storage profile and failed pouches.
