High Barrier Film after Vacuum Packing
Sep 21,2026 | FOSHAN CAILONG METALLIC PACKAGING MATERIAL CO.,LTD
High Barrier Film may perform well as a flat specimen yet face a different load after vacuum packing. Air evacuation pulls the laminate tightly around product edges, creating folds and concentrated stress that can affect the metallized barrier.
A Metallized Film Supplier needs the pouch dimensions, product shape, vacuum level, structure and storage profile. Cailong publishes grade-specific barrier information for VPET-GZ, but the finished pouch must be qualified under matching conditions.
Map the Stress Zones
Inspect corners, folds, product projections and the transition into the seal. Compare failures with the product position instead of judging only the flat center panel.
Separate Barrier from Leakage
Test seals and punctures independently from panel transmission. A rapid vacuum loss may indicate a channel or pinhole rather than insufficient film barrier.
Validate after Packing
Measure appearance, seal integrity, OTR and WVTR after packing and handling. Send Cailong the structure, test conditions, product geometry and failed pouches.
